About Us
My great grand father and his family migrated to the planes of Punjab in mid-1800 century from the lush mountains of Kashmir that is now part of India. My family were orchard farmers in Kashmir and kept herds of goat and sheep. Life was hard in Kashmir Valley and a decision was made to migrate to a warmer climate in the planes of Punjab. Kashmir region is well known for goats that produce the finest wool for making pashmina cloth. Weaving pashmina wool to make shawls was a family profession.
